Cancellation Policy

Sewing Course Agreement 1. Class Format and Schedule Classes may be in-person or virtually, individually or in groups, as determined by the Instructor. - Once a class time is selected, that time will remain the same for the duration of the month. - Schedule changes may be requested at the beginning of a new month, prior to registering for a new session. - One reschedule per month may be granted, depending on availability. Additional requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. 2. Payment Classes are billed monthly, due at the beginning of each month to secure your spot. Payment confirms your enrollment for that month. Missed classes (without 24-hour prior notice) are non-refundable and non-creditable toward future sessions. 3. Cancellations and Refunds If the Instructor must cancel a class, a make-up class or credit will be offered. Student cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to be eligible for a reschedule (subject to Section 1). No refunds are given once the month has begun. 4. Materials and Equipment Students are expected to bring their own basic sewing supplies unless otherwise noted for a specific course. The Instructor may provide certain tools or materials for in-person sessions; any shared tools must be used responsibly and returned in good condition. Students are responsible for ensuring their sewing machines and materials are in safe working order. 5. Safety and Liability By signing this agreement, the Student acknowledges that sewing involves the use of needles, scissors, machines, and other tools that could cause injury if used improperly. The Student agrees to hold Nina Jo Sewing Collective LLC and its instructors harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries arising from participation in classes or use of provided materials. 6. Media and Promotion Photos and/or short video clips may be taken during classes for marketing and documentation purposes. Students who have signed a separate Media Waiver understand and agree that these may be used for promotional purposes by Nina Jo Sewing Collective LLC.
