Wearing florals, but I'm not a florals girl...

Misses Jumpsuit: New Look 6554

I'm always admiring florals on others, but I'm convinced I'm just not a florals girl!

ree

But, I am becoming a knit girl! I've been sewing with more knits and truly enjoy working with them and it's not as daunting as I initially thougtht.

This jumpsuit was a last minute sew, that from start to finish I was able to complete in less than 18 hours, with about 6 hours sewing time. I made and wore it for a friends floral themed birthday gathering. So the florals were for her...

I've seen lots of sewers talk about this pattern, giving it kudos for being a quick and easy sew. And I'm here to confirm that they all were right!!!

The Dets

I picked up this pattern during the Hobby Lobby $.99 sale. And I picked up the jersey knit fabric from Joann.

The Fit

I cut a size 10, but the bodice was a little big and could've sized down in the top for a better fit. The pants were a perfect fit.

The 411

I wouldn't save I loved this jumpsuit, and the reasons are I wasn't in love with the print of the fabric, the texture could've been a bit thicker for a more flattering fit, and the bodice was a bit big on me.

I did, however, love the ease of putting it together. The simplicity of the pattern gaurantees that I will be trying it again in the feature, making the neccesary changes to ensure a better fit.

Thats all for this review. Let me know if you've made it and what you think about my version.
